Please stress the importance of proper electronic device (cell phone, iPod, mp3, etc...) use with your students. Cell phone use is prohibited during academic time at Pueblo West Middle School. Beginning January 2012, if an electronic device is confiscated by Pueblo West Middle School staff, it will only be returned to a parent/guardian. We will no longer give electronic devices back to students once they have been confiscated for improper use. Thank you for your support.

PWMS will now be participating in the Labels for Education Program. This program helps schools earn FREE educational merchandise. There is a collection bin in the front office and in the media center. You can also register at http://www.labelsforeducation.com/ to help us earn online.
The science fair at Pueblo West Middle school will be held on May 16th which is the same night as our whole school academic fair. All students will be participating in the science fair which has been organized and developed by all of the science teachers at PWMS. All students will have the opportunity to apply the inquiry process and to solve a problem or answer a question. By doing a science fair project students go beyond learning science...they will become more confident, more mature, more disciplined, and more skilled in a number of different ways. As a science department, we are eager to work with all of our students' achievements and to provide them with this opportunity.
